RECAP: On a cold, wet Saturday morning/afternoon, the Penn State men's and women's cross country teams both captured team titles at the 2014 Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational. Fifth-year senior Matt Fischer captured the individual title in the men's race with his final time of 26:12 and on the women's side freshman Elizabeth Chikotas () tallied a third-place finish to lead the Nittany Lions. Chikotas posted an overall time of 21:04.
